Empowering Girls Through the Game of Fastpitch Since 1985 The Woodland Girls Fastpitch Softball Association (WGFSA) was founded in 1985 with a simple mission: to provide young girls in Woodland, California, with a safe, supportive, and competitive environment to learn and grow through the sport of fastpitch softball. What started as a small community effort has grown into a well-established organization serving girls ages 5 to 18 across all skill levels. For nearly four decades, WGFSA has been dedicated to developing not just strong athletes but confident, respectful, and driven young women. Through teamwork, mentorship, and sportsmanship, we aim to instill values that last far beyond the softball field. We take pride in being a cornerstone of the Woodland community — offering seasonal leagues, skills clinics, and tournament play, all led by passionate volunteers and coaches who believe in the power of youth sports. Whether your child is picking up a glove for the first time or dreaming of playing at the collegiate level, the Woodland Girls Fastpitch Softball Association is here to support, guide, and cheer them on every step of the way.
